Was Jesus perfect?

Inquiries about the character of Jesus, the Saviour whose life has had a significant influence on human history, are common among those I field as a pastor. “Was Jesus perfect?” is one such query that echoes through the halls of religious study. The answer to this question reveals the essence of Christian faith and the flawless nature of the person we refer to as our Saviour. With the goal of delving deeper into the divine essence of our Saviour, we shall examine the biblical basis for comprehending the perfection of Jesus in this blog post.

 

The Perfection of Jesus in Scripture:

 

1. 1. Hebrews 4:15 (NIV): “For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathise with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin.”

       

      • • This verse from the book of Hebrews establishes a foundational truth: Jesus, though tempted in every way, remained without sin.
